The law firm of Cottrell Law Group, P.A., consists of nine (4) attorneys engaged exclusively in the defense of personal injury actions in all Courts of the States of New Jersey (where our main office is located) and New York (where we maintain a satellite location in Elmsford, Westchester County, New York).
The firm was founded in 2003 by Floyd G. Cottrell, Esq., who was previously the managing partner of the New Jersey office of New York-based Newman Fitch Altheim Myers since 1995. Edward Solensky, Jr., has been a partner since November 1, 2006. The firm enjoys a diverse client base and has literally handled thousands of cases to conclusion. We are listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Registry of Pre-Eminent Attorneys and Best’s Directory of Recommended Insurance Defense Counsel.
The Firm’s areas of concentration include transportation-related claims (trucking, buses and rental cars); premises liability; municipal liability; construction accidents; motor vehicle cases; food and liquor liability; product liability; and insurance coverage.

Floyd G. Cottrell (Partner) is admitted to practice law in the States of New York (1984) and New Jersey (1985), as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted to the Bars of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits and the United States Supreme Court. He is a graduate of Fordham College, Bronx, New York (B.A. 1980) and Fordham University School of Law (J.D. 1983).

George G. Campion

George G. Campion (Of Counsel) was admitted to practice in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1988 and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in 1991. Mr. Campion focuses his practice on civil litigation in trial and appellate courts and in mediations. He has represented employers sued for employment discrimination, lawyers, accountants and insurance brokers sued for malpractice, government agencies sued in Title 59 cases and insurers in coverage litigation.

Ronald James R. De La Fuente joined the Firm as an associate in October 2021, and focuses his practice on intensive litigation, including personal injury defense and motor vehicle accident defense. Before joining the Firm, Mr. De La Fuente was associated with law firms in New York and New Jersey, and has tried matters in state, federal, appellate, and municipal courts throughout both states.
